 Local Government Management Services Board
 The Local Government Management Services Board was established in 1997 to be a centre   of excellence in the provision of management services, human resource and industrial relations support and advice to local authorities in Ireland.

Access Officers Network
The Local Authority Access Officer Network is a group of Access Officers appointed to the post as a requirement of the Disability Act 2005.   The network is supported by LGMSB and the Department of Environment, Community & Local Government and reports to the Disability Act 2005 Steering Committee.
 
Membership of the network is open to the Access Officer in each local authority. The Network is managed by the Access Officer Network Committee which comprises of the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, members of the network and the LGMSB. The overall objective of the network is to develop good practice on accessibility matters across the local authority service.
