Roles and Objectives

This section of the site is set out primarily for (Acting)/Irish Language Officers and for those assisting with the implementation of Irish language schemes in local authorities.

 

The objective of this section is to act as an information storage centre providing a whole range of useful information and hosting links to useful sites.

  • Alongside its routine services, the public library promotes local studies, hosts lectures and exhibitions, runs children's book clubs, provides access to information technology, stimulates self discovery and personal development.
